Roches

Probably the most common invader that we get the most calls about, Roaches can be a nuisance as well as a pain to get rid of but not impossible. Here are some steps and advice we provide our customers to control roach problems.

Step1. Identify the roach- there are many kinds of roaches here in the united states and if you want to control or even get rid of them you need to do some research no roach is the same for the purposes of simplicity today we will be talking about probably the most common German Roaches.

Step 2. inspect and clean your home- roaches especially Germans like to live near areas with food, water and heat sources as they cannot produce their own body heat so common areas to inspect are your kitchen, behind appliances like your fridge and oven and kitchen cabinets. you may find some nesting activity which should be treated immediately. it is also recommended that you do your best to clean and disinfect to get rid of any crumbs and food debris

Step 3. Flush them out- the best way to lower a roach population fast is to use a flushing agent this can be an aerosol insecticide or even a can of compressed air will do the trick when they come out of hiding you should catch them in a vacuum preferably or kill them by physical means. (please Note: aerosol insecticides may not be able to control the problem on their own as they do not last long and roaches can rebuild once the dissipate. please read the label for further instructions)

Step 4 Treatment- Roaches are social insects which means they share their food. we can take advantage of this fact by applying bait near nesting areas this will poison the roach that finds it as well as the roaches they will share the bit with. following this a non- repellant insecticide should be applied to control roaches in the are (please Note: using repellants may help spread the infestation to other parts of the house so be careful and as always Read the label for proper instructions on how to use.)

Step 5. Start a treatment plan- roaches take time to get rid of you need to stay on top of this and reapply treatment as necessary let us make it easy on you we take the headache out of controling roach problems.

Thank you for visiting us and we hope this helped!
